In today’s PP112 Ownership episode, I’m sharing a moment that genuinely shook me.
While showing my son over the Indian Roadmaster in the driveway, I restarted the bike and gave the throttle a quick blip. Without any input from me, the engine suddenly shot straight to redline for 1–2 seconds. It was loud, unexpected, and honestly… frightening.

At first, I had no idea what caused it. I even asked another instance of Copilot whether anything like this had happened before on a PowerPlus 112. It turns out the answer was yes — and the explanation led me down a path I didn’t expect.

After digging deeper, I discovered that I had interrupted the adaptation reset process that automatically runs when you shut the bike off. That interruption caused the erratic throttle behaviour.
