Today I’m taking my very first ride on the 2025 Suzuki DR-Z400SM, a bike I’ve never been a fan of in the past—but this updated version has me rethinking everything. With fuel injection, ride modes, traction control, and a lightweight supermoto setup, Suzuki finally brought the DR-Z into the modern era. In this ride I cover how it feels in the city, how it holds up on the highway, and where it shines the most.
