Transport Mode - How To Put Your Harley-Davidson in Transport Mode

Transport Mode saves your battery from draining when hauling a Harley-Davidson equipped with security. When you're hauling your Harley and the key fob is not detected by the security system, it thinks that the bike is being tampered with. This causes the lights to flash and depending on how far you're hauling your Harley-Davidson, it could completely drain your battery.
With the key fob present, follow these 3 steps to prevent this from happening to you:
1. Turn the ignition on.
2. Turn the ignition off.
3. Hit both blinkers.
If done properly, the odometer will read "Transport Mode Active" and the blinkers will flash 3 times.
